Solution:
To accomplish its objectives, the organization decided to implement an enterprise project management solution using the Microsoft EPM Framework. Oakwood was called in to provide consulting as well as implementation expertise in Microsoft Office Project Server 2007. Oakwood’s team members worked with the organization to design, install, and configure Project Server 2007, and to provide training to project managers, executives, and project team members in the use of the new tool.
Business Benefit:
As a result of this successful implementation, the organization has seen great benefit from the consolidation of projects and the standardization of information through system views and new reporting mechanisms. Executive planning is now based on actual data captured within Project Server 2007. The organization is now running more efficiently, and business decisions are more proactive, enabling them to keep their well-earned top spot in their industry.
