The Community Bank CIO Roundtable Group will hold its next meeting on Tuesday, May 4 at the Oakwood offices in St. Louis, Missouri. The purpose of the roundtable is simply to provide a forum in which CIOs can come together as peers to discuss issues that are impacting their professional lives.
At the first meeting, held in February, the conversation covered everything from electronic crime to mobile banking to outsourced service providers. Those who participated determined that quarterly meetings would provide the right level of interaction and personal connection.
The next session, on May 4 at 8AM at the Oakwood offices in Creve Coeur, will cover topics such as security audits, business continuity, and whatever else the group decides. The session will end by 10AM, depending on the level of conversation and the desires of the group. A light breakfast will be served.
If you are the CIO or Operational Leader of a community bank, and you are interested in participating, please email mjohnson@oakwoodsys.com and you will be sent the Outlook calendar item to accept; it also contains directions on how to get to Oakwood’s offices at CityPlace in Creve Coeur.
If you know of CIOs in other community banking institutions who should be invited, please feel free to forward this link on to them. This is an executive-level, strategic discussion group, open to those at the CIO level or above.
We hope you will be able to join in for a good discussion and a great networking opportunity with peers in the banking community.
