Oakwood Systems Group announces that Tonja Hilton has joined the organization as Vice President of Finance and Administration. In her newly created role, Hilton will be working to help position Oakwood for future growth utilizing her skills and past experience in helping companies realize their organizational potential. “The people were what drew me to Oakwood; they are ready to move to the next level and their readiness is infectious,” said Hilton.
Most recently, Hilton was the Partner-in-Charge of the Small Business Group of RubinBrown in Clayton, MO. While at RubinBrown, Hilton accumulated 16 years of experience involving business plan development, software package implementation, budgeting and modeling, tax planning and tax return preparation as well as compilations and reviews of financial statements. She has also assisted clients with outsourcing of financial management functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable and CFO functions.
Hilton is a frequent author for Small Business Monthly, Past-President and Board Member of the St. Louis Chapter of Commercial Real Estate Women, Member and former Board Member of the Missouri Society of Certified Public Accountants, Member of the Construction Financial Managers Association, Member and former Board Member of the National Association of Women In Construction, and a past participant in Leadership Clayton.
Hilton received her B.S. in Accounting from Truman State University. She and her family make their home in Creve Coeur.
