Dirk Lupien, Senior Consultant in Oakwood Systems Group’s Enterprise Project Solution practice, has been elected to the Project Management Institute’s (PMI) St. Louis Chapter Board of Directors. The PMI is the leading membership association for those in the project management profession. Lupien will serve as the Vice President of Administration where his responsibilities will include maintaining all of the St. Louis chapter’s official communications. He will also serve as the main contact point for the PMI chapter’s Director of Metrics and Director of Process and Procedures. Lupien has been a member of the PMI for nine years.
“I am extremely happy to have been selected to work within the PMI in this capacity. I’m anxious to help expand the influence of the St. Louis PMI chapter and learn ways we can be a better project management resource in the area. Mostly, I look forward to see what I can do to raise the level of support our chapter provides project managers in St. Louis,” said Lupien.
Lupien is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) whose educational background includes a Bachelor of Computer Studies Degree from Roosevelt University and a Masters of Project Management Degree from the Keller Graduate School of Management. He has taught at the Keller Graduate School of Management in the Project Management Department and is a frequent speaker at area project management events.
