Oakwood Systems Group announces that Walter “Bubba” Mullen has joined the organization as General Manager of its Nashville, TN branch. In his new role, Mullen will be working to help position Oakwood for future growth utilizing his skills and past experience in helping companies realize their organizational potential.
“The people and professionalism were what drew me to Oakwood; I feel that Oakwood’s team is uniquely positioned to help clients in Middle Tennessee solve their business problems using technology,” said Mullen.
Most recently, Mullen was the Director of IT Project Management for the Office of Information Resources at the State of Tennessee. While at the state, Mullen led the Project Management Office, overseeing the implementation of many large-scale systems implementations for the state. Mullen has over 22 years experience in information technology with industry leaders EDS, Price Waterhouse, and IBM.
Mullen received his B.B.A. in Management Information Systems from Delta State University. He and his family make their home in Nolensville.
