Nawrocki, Westerhold, Herbel, and Sun Join Oakwood Team 

 
 

Oakwood Systems Group, Inc. is pleased to announce the following additions to the Oakwood team:

Bob Nawrocki has joined as Vice President of Advanced Infrastructure Solutions and Services Management.  Nawrocki spent the past sixteen months at Sogeti as Director of Enterprise Microsoft Solutions, where he was charged with building the Microsoft practice for Sogeti’s St. Louis business unit.  Prior to Sogeti, Nawrocki was the Vice President of Information Technology for Our 365 (formerly Growing Family) where he was responsible for the effective use of technology within the organization, formulating business strategy, and developing and implementing strategic plans to reach organizational goals.  Nawrocki has deep expertise in several technology areas, including infrastructure management, system design and implementation, and systems management.

Craig Westerhold is Oakwood’s newest Director of Business Development, bringing his thirty years of technology industry experience and business knowledge to Oakwood’s sales team.  Westerhold’s career includes twenty-three years at IBM, where he served in various roles including Client Executive in the Pharmaceutical industry practice, the North America Market Leader, Customer Service for the Utility industry practice, and as Solutions Executive.  After stints at Peace Software of Miami, Florida, and the St. Louis Regional Commerce & Growth Association, Westerhold spent the last three and a half years at Daugherty Business Solutions as Regional Sales Manager and Account Manager. 

Corey Herbel has joined Oakwood as a Senior Consultant in the Custom and Web Development practice, specializing in .NET development.  Corey has 19 years of IT experience that crosses many industries, including military, aerospace, utilities, finance and publishing.  He started his career as a Solaris System Administrator while in the Air Force, spreading his experience between Unix Administration, Database Admin and Architecture, and Software Development.  He has spent the last 5 years working as a consultant developing web and console based .NET applications. 

Yuhang Sun has joined Oakwood as a Senior Consultant in the Portals and Collaboration practice.  He started in Information Technology 15 years ago with IBM China as an MQSeries specialist. In 1997, he entered Washington University Graduate School to pursue a Masters degree in Computer Science. After graduating, he worked for various organizations, including Citation Computer Systems, Celox Networks, and Object Computing, with a five year stint at Quilogy immediately prior to joining Oakwood.  Sun has brought his SharePoint architecture and development skills to Oakwood’s already robust Portals and Collaboration team.
