Oakwood Systems Group, Inc. Earns Microsoft Gold Competency in Server Platform

Oakwood Systems Group, Inc. announces that it is one of the first partners in the nation to earn the Server Platform Gold Competency in the new Microsoft Partner Network.

According to Microsoft's PinPoint system, a web-based directory designed to help business customers find technology experts, less than one percent of U.S. Microsoft partners profiled have achieved this level of competency attainment and recognition within the new Microsoft Partner Network.

“Oakwood’s ITS team is without peer,” states Bob Nawrocki, Oakwood’s VP of Infrastructure Technology Solutions, which includes the Systems Management and Server Platform Practices.  “Our clients rely on our expertise, and it is great to have this important credential to back up the great work that our team does every day.”

Under the new Microsoft Partner Network Guidelines, Microsoft partners which have achieved a Gold Competency will have passed more stringent testing requirements, have larger numbers of certified people and client references, and have a demonstrated commitment to a specific Microsoft business solution area.  The former “Gold Certified” partner designation was an across-the-board designation; under the new program, partners are required to earn the Gold Competency in each solution area individually.

This is Oakwood’s third Gold Competency, making Oakwood one of the most highly certified partners in the US.
