Oakwood Systems Group, Inc. is pleased to announce the release of its new Facebook page. The page features realtime feeds from OakwoodTweets, the Oakwood Twitter account, as well as information about service offerings, a photo library, discussion boards, and RSS feed from the Oakwood website "Oakwood News" page.
According to Margaret Johnson, Oakwood's Director of Marketing, "We want to have an online presence where our clients, potential clients, and potential team members are already spending time. Now users who do not have a Twitter account can follow our postings, and the Facebook page allows user participation in a way that Twitter does not."
Oakwood continues to develop its online presence through the use of Twitter, LinkedIn, and now Facebook. "The response to our postings has been great, and of equal importance is that fact that many of our clients are struggling with the question of how to best use social media, and we can help them," continued Johnson. "Our development teams have done a number of projects recently featuring the integration of social media, and this area of our business continues to grow."
