Oakwood Announces Partnership with Unify for Lotus Notes Migrations

Oakwood Systems Group announces the formation of a partnership with Unify, an industry leader in application modernization software.  Unify’s unique software, Composer, specializes in the like-for-like migration and conversion of Lotus Notes applications to the Microsoft platform.
 
According to Margaret Johnson, Oakwood’s Director of Marketing and Alliances, “In our experience, organizations who have a lot of applications developed in Lotus Notes may want to move to the Microsoft Platform but the cost and risk to rewrite applications in Microsoft technologies can be excessive and work and time considerations can become showstoppers.  Unify’s Composer application demonstrates that an efficient and cost-effective conversion is possible.” 
 
The addition of Unify’s Composer service to Oakwood’s existing solutions creates a fully integrated approach to the Lotus to Microsoft migration.  This offering includes the ability to migrate mail systems to Microsoft Exchange Server and the capacity to migrate Notes/Domino applications to the .NET Framework and/or SharePoint.
